Samangi joined the lab again to collaborate with the lab virtually and part-time as a volunteer researcher in July 2021. Here is a short description from her:
Hello! I’m Samangi from Sri Lanka, and I am so glad to join NUS-HCI Lab again, even though it’s virtual and part-time this time. I am a BDes (Hons) graduate in Media and Communication Design from the University of Moratuwa. Also, I am a former research intern at the NUS-HCI lab ( in 2019), and currently, I am serving at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura as a lecturer. I am passionate about exploring the effects of multisensory stimuli and innovating better experiences to enhance human capabilities. NUS-HCI lab has always been a great place to learn about HCI research. Therefore, I am happy to get engaged to refuel myself while collaborating with the lab members.
