Good news. We are hiring again for 2019. We are looking for one research engineer and two interns to help the lab.
Here are the details:
Full Time Research Engineer
Project scope: The goal of the project is to build a wearable platform that can be used to design and test the various interaction techniques envisioned in “the next interaction paradigm” talk. https://interactionparadigm.org/interactionParadigm.html The goal of the next interaction paradigm is to enable human computer interaction that’s synergetic to human’s daily activities and transform the way we work and live to achieve a much more balanced lifestyle. To do that, we need wearable devices that can “observe” and “understand” human behaviors, and try to provide information “just-in-time” and in a way that do not cause major interference to people’s current activity. This requires us to build wearable devices that’s closely associated with our input/output sensors and actuators.
