We are delighted to learn that Foong Pin Sym, Viral Parekh, Shengdong Zhao and Ramanathan Subramaniam have been aceepted to the prestigious ACM IUI 2018 in Tokyo, Japan for their paper “AVEID: Automatic Video System for Measuring Engagement in Dementia“.

The AVEID system enables non-intrusive and automated behavioral analytics of the dementia patients by capturing their attention (gazing behavior) and attitude (emotion) characteristics.
